ME Awareness month over on Instagram has wiped me out, more than my normal exhaustion, but May is nearly over and I’m no quitter so I’m trying to keep up with the daily posts. Given my energy level, well given my nearly non-existent energy level, I thought I’d just share some of my image posts from IG from this month, but that’s about all I have for today. Hoping everyone is doing best as possible. 🌼 Next week I’ll hopefully be feeling a little more chit-chatty and spunky.
And my usual little doodles. 🙂
These are beautiful Mishka! Do you do your lettering? It’s all so perfect! Part of my goal with trying to learn to watercolor is to be able to make cards, but the whole lettering thing is still a work in progress too…. I hope you start to feel a little more energetic soon. I’m sure you’re wiped out from all the activity, but I suspect you feel great about participating in ME Awareness Month. Sending gentle hugs!

Thank you, Terri 🌸 My penmanship is … not good. 😬 I use iPhone photo edit to add text to the photos. 😊 On cards I sometimes hand letter but am never pleased. Someday I’d like to take a class. I’ve tried printing out worksheets to work on the muscle memory for each letter but it doesn’t sink in 🤯😁 You can also run the cards through the printer, before or after you’ve painted them. Thank you for stopping in and hoping today has been best as possible for you.🌻

Oh, that’s a great idea! I thought about using the printer, but I wasn’t sure if it would affect the watercolors. Thanks for the advice!

I think I’ve done it twice and once I printed before I painted. But the other time it was fine running through printer. Hardest part was lining everything up without throwing the printer out the window 😁just teasing of course.

Ha ha! I know that feeling! Trying to get the printer to cooperate can be so frustrating sometimes. Have a wonderful day!

I’m sorry you’re feeling so washed out. I hope you can rest, recuperate and pick back up a little over the weekend, to your norm/baseline, fingers crossed ♥ I love the inclusion of your mum’s quote, wise words indeed. Beautiful watercolours as always, you are very talented! xx

Love the drawings, hope you are getting good rest. “Best thing about feelings is that they are always changing. Let them come and let them go” I needed to read that one. So beautiful, wise, LOVE IT!!❤️❤️💕💕

Thank you! Yes so exhausting. Not even done much and still in flare. Ah well with any luck I’ll rest myself back to baseline. 🤞Happy weekend 💙🌸

This looks like something easy for beginners (aka me). Thank you for this great post!

Thank you for stopping in! 🌸 I think the degree of difficulty with regard to watercolors varies greatly with your expectation. I have very little for myself as it’s only for fun. 😊
