What was the most cherished gift you ever received?

Just a quick check in today to say Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays, or sending you hugs as you survive this difficult time, because they all apply for so many of us. Honestly, I’m surviving this year. And that is OKAY, for me, and for you. Soon enough we’ll be wrapped up in the new year, trying to remember it’s 2020. So just one question before I go, in hopes of sparking joy for you. What was the most cherished gift you ever received? Not just during the holidays, but ever.

My most cherished gift? When I was a child my mother got me a keyboard. I felt like angels themselves sang to me as I opened that gift. I don’t know that I’d ever been that filled with glee before, or even after. I loved it, pure and simple.

Sending out hugs to those who need them, and compassion to those who need that too. Hoping you’re able to make a couple precious memories during this last jaunt of the year. But you know what, if not, that’s okay too. I hope though, that you’ll do something kind for yourself, that sparks joy, or even subtle happiness. My recommendations are holiday treats, silly holiday movies, if you drink, maybe some champagne, have a special moment with whatever you’d like, however you’d like. You deserve it, it’s been a long year, your body has seen you through the whole lot of it, at least give it some chocolate or something! 😉

  1. That’s a hard one Mishka…ummmm…probably my Teddy that my father got me when I was 2…I still have him! Though he’s looking a bit worse for wear these days, as I took him everywhere when I was little he was greatly loved!
Hoping 2020 is a year full of blessings for you! 😀

      1. Thank you Mishka! Yes, many parts of our beautiful country are burning…the drought is taking its toll in more ways then just the lack of rain :-/
It has caused the bush to become so very dry, which in our very hot Summers becomes a tinderbox for fire storms to develop. Everyone here is on bush fire alert mode!
